HDS McKessenis the leading provider of supply, information and care management products and services designed to reduce costs and improve quality across healthcare. McKesson is the 20th largest industrial company in the US. Vivid Systems worked with HDS to develop a web-based application to register doctors and patients, and provide real-time entry of drug dosage and related information. Doctors are provided with tools to manage and enter non-specific patient information using a browser-based interface. Dosage and non-specific patient information is now tracked in real-time, at the data source, eliminating repetitive data entry and manual forms. Management reporting is streamlined through timely and more accurate information.
